Red Pitaya Click Shield

Red Pitaya Click Shields provide an enhanced set of tools for expanding the versatility of your favourite “Swiss Army Knife for engineers”, allowing you to connect up to two MIKROE Click Boards directly to the Red Pitaya. Bolster your projects with high-resolution ADC, GPS module, LoRa connectivity, or an LCD screen, connect and synchronize clock and trigger signals over multiple devices, or power your Red Pitaya using an industrial power supply. The brand-new Red Pitaya Click Shield provides all of the above and much more with:
  • Two mikroBUS™ sockets, allowing interface with more than 1500 MIKROE Click board™ devices.
  • High-performance clock and trigger synchronization between multiple Red Pitaya units.
  • Powering Red Pitaya through an external power supply (12-24 V or via USB-C connector)
What is in the box
  • Red Pitaya Click Shield
  • 3x ULF to ULF cable for trigger and clock synchronization

Red Pitaya Wi-Fi Dongle

The WiFi dongle is compatible with STEMlab 125-10, STEMlab 125-14, SDRlab 122-16, and SIGNALlab 250-12. It is also compatible with the latest version of Red Pitaya’s official OS.  Note that the dongle will only enable your Red Pitaya unit to connect to other WiFi networks, and the ability to establish its own network/access point is not available yet.  It has improved connection stability and range, plus higher speed (40-50Mbits/s).  It comes with an RP-SMA detachable antenna, which allows you to extend it with a cable for better antenna positioning.  Caution: do not use the WiFi dongle without the antenna connected.

SDRlab 122-16

SDRlab 122-16 was developed specifically for software-defined radio and more demanding RF applications. It comes with two 16-bit 50-ohm inputs and 14-bit 50-ohm outputs, Xilinx Zynq 7020 FPGA for real-time processing capabilities plus an ultra-low phase noise 122.88MHz clock which makes it more hardware-compatible with HPSDR compliant applications. RF inputs are optimized for minimal distortion, noise and crosstalk which significantly improves reception and broadens the choice of antenna.

SDRlab 122-16 External Clock Standard Kit

CAUTION: This board needs an external clock signal 122.88MHz in order to boot and function! SDRlab 122-16 External Clock is based on the SDRlab 122-16 digitizer model that is modified to be used with an external clock oscillator, which is important, especially for RF applications that operate at other frequencies and may require higher accuracy clock or synchronization. With this modification, users can provide their own clock for the Red Pitaya device through the E2 extension connector. External clock modification advantages: – Tailored for SDR & other RF applications, HF and 50MHz bands – No DC coupling! minimum RF Input frequency (-3dB): 300kHz – Comes with two 16-bit ADC 50 ohm inputs; 14-bit DACs 50 Ohm outputs – Three times bigger dual-core ARM Cortex A9 + Xilinx Zynq 7020 FPGA – Bigger FPGA provides more real-time processing capabilities – Hardware compatible with HPSDR – Improved distortions, dynamic range, sensitivity, noise & crosstalk
