Description
The unmounted connectors allow the user to:
- Mount the connectors on the other side of the PCB
- Use their own different connectors
- Embed the Red Pitaya unit in a permanent way in a bigger device, for space reasons or in vibration environment
- Mount their own designed shields to extend a specific additional functionality
- Simply connect wires to access the pins
- Have a reduced mass for airborne application where weight is very important
